Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, that smash hit of a battle royale platformer that sold over 2 million copies within one week, will be coming to mobile.
Daniel Ahmad, a video games industry analyst, recently tweeted that Chinese entertainment company Bilibili has obtained exclusive publishing rights for a mobile version of Fall Guys. However, it’s in China only. No release date was mentioned.
The news is rather surprising. It has only been a few days prior to this announcement when the official Twitter account for Fall Guys warned its players not to believe in ads for mobile versions that turn out to be scams.
Released on August 4, 2020, Fall Guys is currently only available on PC and PlayStation 4. So far, there’s no announcement for a Fall Guys mobile version with a global rollout. But given the game’s popularity, it’s not far-fetched to think it will release in more markets and platforms such as the Nintendo Switch.
