Amazon Luna games, compatible devices, and pricing revealed - Android

The Amazon Luna is essentially the company’s take to Google Stadia. It allows users to play games — streamed over the internet — on their desktop PC, Fire TV, and mobile.

For those who are unfamiliar, cloud gaming allows you to play games — mostly triple-A ones — without having to install or download them.

It’s ideal if you have an underpowered PC, or if you want to play PC games on a Mac or mobile.

The Amazon Luna features different channels that users can subscribe to. There’s the main Luna+ channel, which gives you access to these games:

• Control, Resident Evil 7
• Panzer Dragoon
• The Surge 2
• A Plague Tale: Innocence
• Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair
• GRID
• ABZU
• Iconoclasts
• Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

The Amazon Luna+ channel is now at early access period stage for a monthly subscription fee of USD6 (around Php290).

Are you a big Ubisoft fan? Here’s a treat for you. Amazon has created a special Luna channel for the popular game developer. It gives you access to the developer’s existing and upcoming games like Far Cry 6, Valhalla, and Immortals Fenyx Rising. A couple of DLC and ultimate edition of Ubisoft games will also be available.

Unlike the Luna+, you can only play on one device at a time on the Amazon Luna Ubisoft channel. Amazon is also planning on introducing more publisher channels and genres in the future. No pricing is announced as of now.

Since Amazon now own Twitch, games on Amazon Luna can be streamed to the said platform easily.

The Amazon Luna is compatible with the company’s own Fire TV stick, PC and Mac via a dedicated app, iPhone and iPad using a web app, while the Android support is coming soon.

Amazon will be selling their own Luna Controller, but users can opt to use their existing controller, mouse, and keyboard. The Luna service is exclusively available to the U.S as of the moment.
