Another month has ended, which means that we’re getting a new list of best-performing Android phones from AnTuTu.
First, we have the list of AnTuTu best performing flagship phones for August 2020, which is dominated by the ASUS ROG Phone 3 12GB/128GB. This puppy is powered by a Snapdragon 865 Plus processor — only one of the two devices on this list with this chipset — with a score of 615,289.
The second Snapdragon 865 Plus processor on this list is the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G 12GB/256GB, which is on the fourth spot with a score of 595,317.
It was beaten by the OnePlus 8 Pro 12GB/256GB and Find X2 Pro 12GB/512GB, which got the second and third spots, respectively.
The fifth, sixth, and seventh spots belong to Xiaomi. We have the Redmi K30 Pro 8GB/128GB, POCO F2 Pro 8GB/256GB, and Mi 10 8GB/256GB taking each spot, respectively. It’s ironic that the Mi 10 came last since it’s the Xiaomi’s flagship model.
Meanwhile, taking the last three seats are Samsung flagships running on their in-house Exynos 990 chipset. We have the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G 12GB/256GB, Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G 12GB/256GB, and the Galaxy S20 Plus 5G 12GB/256GB.
Moving on, we also have the AnTuTu top list of best midrange phones globally for August 2020. It’s dominated by the popular OnePlus Nord 8GB/128GB, which is powered by the trusty Snapdragon 765G processor, the only 5G-enabled chip on this list. This allowed the device to get an average score of 329,958.
It’s followed by another Snapdragon 765G device, the Redmi K30 5G 6GB/64GB. Meanwhile, the Kirin 810 is staying strong and allowed the Nova 7i, the only Huawei device on both lists, to take the third spot.
The proven and tested MediaTek Helio G90T remain undisrupted as it puts the Realme 6 and Redmi Note 9 Pro steady at the fourth and fifth spot. Ironically beating their bigger brothers, the Realme 6 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro, whose Snapdragon 720G processors only managed to put them at the number six and seven spots.
What’s more ironic is, the Reno 4 4G and Mi Note 10 Pro, which are the most expensive devices on this list, only managed to take the last ninth and tenth spots.
With that said, here’s the list of best performing Android phones in the market today. A guide if you want the best possible performance on a smartphone.
