As part of the Philippine government's efforts to provide accurate and reliable information about COVID-19 to the public, the
Department of Health (DOH) recently launched a new website that gives the latest details as regards the number and general location of Persons Under Investigation (PUI) across the country.
DOH's COVID-19 Philippines Cases Tracker Website can be accessed via https://ncovtracker.doh.gov.ph/ on any web browser. There's also a mobile version, shown in the image below, that's more ideal for viewing on our smartphones. To help Filipinos get access to up-to-date and verified information on COVID-19, PLDT Inc.’s wireless subsidiary Smart Communications, Inc. has been allowing Smart, Sun, and Talk N' Text (TNT) subscribers to browse the Department of Health websites, including the COVID-19 Tracker, on their smartphones for free since the end of January 2020.This means that Smart, Sun, and TNT subscribers simply need to turn on their Mobile Data connection, open their preferred mobile web browser, and go to the above-mentioned website address at any time and even without subscribing to a mobile data promo.
According to
Mr. Ramon R. Isberto - PLDT-Smart Public Affairs Head, "Let us work together in dealing with this health crisis by helping share the correct information about what is happening and on how to best safeguard our health and that of our families and communities."
