If you noticed the other day that you weren’t able to access your favorite sites, then this could be the reason.

Cloudflare experienced issues with their 1.1.1.1 DNS service, resulting in an outage across parts of their network. This caused numerous sites that rely on their service to go down.

The issue has since been identified and fixed. Cloudflare clarified that it was not an attack, but rather just an outage caused by an error.

Cloudflare’s CEO Matthew Prince explained in a Tweet that a router in Atlanta had an error that caused bad routes across their network.
