Other than Facebook, the trade secretary said that they are also talking with Google, and e-commerce brands such as Lazada and Shopee, to assist small, medium, and micro enterprises to take their businesses online. The increased exposure will help SMEs to reach more markets and grow their businesses.
Lopez added that there are already 13,000 local establishments registered with Google, giving them access to the platform’s numerous business solutions. One of those is being listed in Google Maps, one of the most-used location apps in the market.
