Home Credit has partnered with company TecProtec to launch its Device Protection service in the Philippines.
TecProtec is essentially a protection plan company that helps fix your gadget that suffered from accidental cracked screens and water damage. Now, they have teamed up with one of the biggest lending companies in the Philippines to launch the Home Credit TecProtec Device Protection.
The Home Credit TecProtec is available for newly-bought mobile phones, tablets, and laptops through straight cash payment or credit card. The cost of a 1-year protection coverage will be calculated from the device’s value, which you can settle through a one-time payment or via a 0% 3-month installment plan.
This is a handy service for the clumsy folks out there who accidentally drop their phone and get a cracked screen; or those who accidentally spilled water, coffee, or any other accidents that may cause water damage to your precious phone, tablet, or laptop.

These are the kind of damages that are not covered by the official manufacturer’s warranty. And if your device is beyond repair, TecProtec might actually replace it with a brand new unit.
What’s more interesting is, it’s a door-to-door service, so you don’t need to get out of the house to get it fixed. To avail of this promo, you can head to your nearest Home Credit kiosk or reach one of their agents. Chances are, they are already present in the store you bought your new device on.
