The market for smart wearables recorded an impressive sales improvement despite the global medical issue. Companies with strong presence in the sector are introducing new wearables to compete in multiple price segments, with others trying to join the trend.
Huawei with a record 57% year-over-year (YoY) growth in the first 6 months of 2020, is one the best companies in the wearable market. With this new smartwatch called as the Huawei Watch Fit, the Chinese tech giant is obviously trying to further expand its market share.
The Huawei Watch Fit is equipped with a 2.5D curved 1.64-inch AMOLED screen and comes with a resolution of 280 x 456 pixels (326ppi) and screen-to-body ratio of about 70%. It has dimensions of 46 x 30 x 10.7mm and its display supports full-screen input.
There’s a single button to wake up the device and act as a power button. To reveal information when the watch is inactive, it has an Always-On Display with support for 6 custom watch faces.
The Huawei Watch Fit packs animated quick-workout features like ab ripper, full-body stretch, and about 44 other modes. There are also 96 workout modes available on the wearable, like mainstream sports modes for cycling, swimming and running. To keep track of your health, it comes with advanced sensors and features. The device also has a GPS built-in which will certainly reduce the usage of smartphones.
There’s also advanced ArtificiaI Intelligence (AI) heart rate algorithm and 5ATM water protection in the Huawei Watch Fit. The new sensors ensure users train better because of the cientific training effect evaluation, real-time metrics, and guidance. The smartwatch also has a 6-axis IMU sensor, ambient light sensor, capacitive sensor, and optical heart rate sensor.
