The Philippines may be gradually relaxing its quarantine rules, but that doesn’t mean everyone should lower their guard like old times. Taking precautions remain ever so important under the post-pandemic new normal, and Pinoy electronics brand Cherry claims it has the right essential health and safety products for you.

Cherry Ion

First off, Cherry offers several gadgets for when you’re out and about. There’s the wearable air purifier Cherry Ion that, for ₱3,500 (or ₱3,700 for limited editions) can apparently provide protection from air particulates by emitting 50 million/cm³ negative ions for up to 12 hours.

Cherry Ion Lite

On a shoestring budget? The cheaper, eight-hour Cherry Ion Lite is available for ₱2,300. Cherry claims these two are proven to help stave off airborne viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens.

Cherry’s 2-in-1 Disinfecting Lamp with Powerbank,

This one is a dual-purpose gadget whose name speaks for itself. It’s one part sanitizer thanks to its 3-watt UV lamp and one part portable charger for your other electronic devices, with a 6000mAh battery capacity and 2 USB ports. It costs ₱1,399.

Cherry Car Ionizer with Air Purifier

For car owners, the Cherry Car Ionizer with Air Purifier works just like the Cherry Ion, but instead of wearing it you need just put it in your car’s cup holder and let it do its thing, emitting up to 20 million negative ion with a 360-degree coverage. This car accessory will set you back ₱2,500.

Cherry Ionizer with Humidifier and Air Purifier

Besides products for on-the-go protection, Cherry offers several items for home use. The rather straightforwardly named Cherry Ionizer with Humidifier and Air Purifier, for instance, features 170-million negative ion emission and four-stage air purification process with 99.98% effectiveness. It can also apparently help with sleep quality. All these features cost ₱4,000.

Cherry Air Purifier

If you want other options, Cherry has four more air purifier variants. Cheapest and lightest of the bunch is the Cherry Air Purifier (AP-01) at ₱3,500 and 3.5kgs, respectively, with 30sqm room coverage. For ₱5,000, the Cherry UVC Air Purifier (AP-02) comes with an integrated UV lamp and six-stage purification. 

Up next is the Cherry Air Purifier (AP-100) with 50sqm room coverage, four-stage filtration system and UV disinfection. For the best coverage, the Cherry Air Purifier (AP-300) is available for a whopping ₱11,900. Features include 60sqm coverage, six-stage filtration, and UV light disinfection. 

Cherry Smart UVC Disinfecting Lamp

If you want UV light disinfection alone, there’s the 36-watt Cherry Smart UVC Disinfecting Lamp for ₱2,999 that comes with smartphone controls. Alternatively, the Cherry UV Sterilizer Cabinet can sanitize more household items simultaneously with its 10-liter capacity and 5000-hour lamp life at ₱3,800.
