Apple is set to break a cycle of its iPhone releases when it officially announced last month the release of the iPhone 12 going beyond September. But would not be long enough following slated availability “a few weeks later.”
As mind-boggling as the statement was, Jon Prosser, a prolific leaker in the Apple scene, sheds light on the vague notion claiming that a scheduled iPhone 12 event is to take place around October 12. Stating also the preorder of the anticipated product taking place later in that week, followed by shipping a week after.

If true, this could mean the event taking place on October 12 or 13 and seeing preorder products go into shipment on October 23, 2020 at the soonest.
In addition to the event surrounding the iPhone 12, Prosser also claims via a press release that Apple is going to launch the Apple Watch Series 6 and an undefined iPad during the week of September 7, 2020.
