There are plenty of monitors in the market. And like laptops, they come in different types to cater to different uses. Some are for work, while others are for play. Lenovo has a couple of laptops available that can be used for both work and play, depending on your budget. Check out our initial thoughts on the Lenovo Q24h-10 and Lenovo L24i-10.

The Lenovo Q24h, as the name suggests, has a 24-inch screen (23.8-inch to be exact). It has a slim top and side bezels. The chin is slightly thicker but doesn’t look ugly or distracting. Found on the bottom right are the buttons for the volume, power, and for adjusting display settings.

It has a metal stand and base. The base is square-shaped with a wedge design. This area is spacious enough for stowing away your keyboard or docking your laptop.

The Lenovo Q24h features a slim design. The lower part, though, where the mount and ports are located, is slightly thicker. It sports a USB Type-C 3.1 port, an HDMI 1.4, a DP 1.2, two USB Type-A 3.0 with one BC 1.2, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The display has an IPS panel with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, supports 16.7 million colors with 99% sRGB coverage, an Eye-care technology, and a maximum brightness of 300 cd/?. The display also has a tilt angle of up to -5° and 22° for a better viewing experience. If you’re into VESA mounts, this monitor supports it.

For audio, it has two 3W speakers. The audio quality is decent and good enough for casual listening. But if you’re planning to use this for entertainment, a more powerful set of speakers is recommended.

Overall, it’s a good monitor for different uses, including photo editing, watching videos, and casual gaming.

Next, we have the Lenovo L24i, which is for those looking for a 23.8-inch monitor at a lower price. It also has a slim top and side bezels, although not as slim as the Q24h.

Unlike the Q24h, the L24i has a V-shaped stand. It has controls placed on the lower right with front-facing buttons.

It also has a relatively slim body, although not as slim as the Q24h. It has the same -5° and 22° tilt angle, but unfortunately, doesn’t support VESA mounts.

For the ports, it has VGA, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Give that it’s more affordable than the Q24h, the L24i packs a 1920 x 1080 resolution. It also has an IPS panel with a 72% NTSC color gamut and a brightness of 250 cd/m².

It doesn’t have built-in speakers like its more expensive cousin, so make sure you have an external speaker if you’re picking this monitor. Overall, the Lenovo 24i is a good monitor for those on a tight budget. The resolution and colors are good enough for typical work tasks and casual gaming.

The Lenovo Q24h-10 is priced at PHP 12,995, while the Lenovo L24i-10 is priced at PHP 6,495. Both are now available in all major electronic stores, and Lenovo authorized resellers.
