The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold, a laptop claiming to be the “world’s first foldable PC,” is coming the way of the Philippines.
First unveiled in January this year, the 13-inch Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold sets itself apart from laptops in the X1 series by sporting a foldable display. Doubts on durability usually come to mind for devices with a foldable display, but Lenovo claims the X1 Fold has sufficiently passed durability and reliability tests, including Mil-SPEC.
The laptop’s hinge design lasted in opening and closing tests conducted over 30,000 times, which is equivalent to 3 to 5 years of realistic usage.
