MacBook Air, MacBook Pro late 2020 models with M1 CPU prices in the Philippines revealed - Android

The Apple M1 boasts an 8-core CPU that’s said to offer 3.5x faster performance. They also claim that it has the world’s fastest integrated graphics, plus blazing-fast machine learning. It also has drastically improved the battery performance on the new MacBooks.

Speaking of Macs, Apple introduced two new laptops that will be powered by the latest M1 processor. Albeit, their overall hardware are the same as their predecessors, only with updated processors, a much improved battery efficiency, and upgraded USB ports to support the Apple Pro Display XDR in full 6K resolution.

The new 13-inch MacBook Air late-2020 will have the same specs as the early 2020 model. It has the same all-metal design, 8GB RAM, a Retina display with True Tone technology, the latest Magic Keyboard, Touch ID, and two Thunderbolt ports.

It’s now listed on Apple’s website for a price of Php54,990 for the 256GB SSD storage and Php68,990 for the 512GB SSD variant. The Intel models have been removed.

Also listed on Apple Philippines’ website is the M1-powered Macbook Pro 13 late-2020 model. It has a price of Php71,990 for the 256GB, while the 512GB model is at Php83,990. You can check the rest of the specs here.

The availability for both M1 laptops is yet to be announced. Meanwhile, the top-tier Intel models for the MacBook Pro are still present.

The Core i5 model with 16GB of memory and 512GB SSD storage is at Php104,990. An upgrade to 1TB of SSD will cost you Php116,990. The Intel models have four Thunderbolt 3 ports, while the former only have two.
