The Meizu 18 and 18 Pro just came out as the company’s latest flagship devices.
As expected, the Meizu 18 and 18 Pro features all the bells and whistles of a 2021 flagship phone. For starters, both models are powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor, an AMOLED screen, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Pro model is obviously bigger, carrying a 6.7-inch screen. It also has a larger 4,500mAh battery, faster 40W wired charging, sharper 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 sensor, 32-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and an 8-megapixel sensor with 3x telephoto zoom.
Like the new iPhone 12 and Galaxy S21 series, the Meizu 18 and 18 Pro will not come with a charger. Albeit, the company will run a special promotion where buyers can get a wall adapter for “free” in exchange for two old ones.
Both models will be available in China starting March 8, while the release in the Philippines and other markets are yet to be announced. The Meizu 18 starts at CNY4,399 (around Php32,900) for the 8GB/128GB, CNY4,699 (around Php35,200) for the 8GB/256GB, and CNY4,999 (around Php37,500) for the 12GB/256GB.
Meanwhile, the Pro model will be available in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB for CNY4,999 (around Php37,500), CNY5,499 (around Php41,200), and CNY5,999 (around Php44,900), respectively. You can check their full specs lists below.
