What with scalpers and crypto miners hogging all the limited stocks of the RTX 30 series, NVIDIA is resorting to supplying older graphic cards, such as the discontinued RTX 2060 and GTX 1050 Ti, to cover high demand.

Citing production bottlenecks and costs of using the 8nm manufacturing process for its current GPUs, NVIDIA has decided to re-release its older cards that are built on the cheaper 12nm process.

Sadly, even these older cards are in short supply too, as the ongoing pandemic has resulted in more consumers spending on gaming rigs and at-home entertainment. The prices of these GPUs are also ridiculously higher than when they were originally released.

The RTX 2060, for instance, can go as high as $800 online, versus its $350 launch price in January 2019.

A new addition to the RTX 30 series, the RTX 3060, is slated for release this month at $330, though expect the price to soar just like the rest.
