Facebook is conducting a new experimental concept that seems to blur the lines between two of the company’s own running social media platforms. While limited to only a few, the new feature allows Facebook users to view Instagram Stories content directly from the former’s mobile app.

Experienced by Twitter user, @ec_wife, and was further confirmed by Facebook via Matt Navarra, the experiment is said to be undergoing “limited test for now.”

Crossing the boundaries between the two social media platforms is nothing new, but this new idea seems to be a little unique than previously. Whereas before Facebook allows for cross-posting of contents in both platforms, this new concept allows Instagram followers to view contents directly within Facebook application itself.
