If a certain YouTuber is to be believed, NVIDIA is prepping a follow-up to 2018’s Titan RTX graphics card. It’s teased to boast up to 48GB of GDDR6X memory and a price that goes beyond $3,000.

According to Moore’s Law is Dead, the upcoming Titan RTX card is based on the Ampere architecture, from which the RTX 3090, RTX 3080, and RTX 3070 are also based. Computer memory manufacturer Micron is hinted to be the supplier of the upcoming Titan RTX’s VRAM, as the company is said to be releasing GDDR6X memory with a faster speed of 23Gbps by early 2021.

With a price that’s above $3,000, the next-gen Titan RTX is aimed towards users who are into enthusiast computing. In comparison, the high-end RTX 3090 costs $1,499. The next-gen Titan RTX is also apparently NVIDIA’s response to its rival AMD’s Big Navi, so the former can hold on to its reign as GPU king.
