It has been almost 35 years since the Super Mario Bros’ franchise came to life and to celebrate its 35th-year anniversary, Nintendo is releasing a modernized version of the original Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros.
Bearing the layout of the native product, which sees first launch back in the ‘80s, the modernized handheld is a throwback to the early years of handheld gaming—but in color.

While having a significant appeal to modern consumers, particularly retro gamers, the Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. caters to veteran gamers who had developed fond memories of the stuff.
Aside from being able to play Super Mario Bros., the product also sees playability of two additional games, Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels and the Mario rendition of Game & Watch: Ball (originally played as Mr. Game & Watch).
When not used for gaming, the Game & Watch also functions as a fancy digital clock, which features 35 unique animations and many other surprises from the franchise.
The Nintendo Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros will be sold in limited amounts to the UK, US, and Japan on November 13, 2020, at a price tag of $49.99 or around Php2,500 when converted directly to Philippine peso.
