Nokia 1.4 - 6.51-inch HD+ screen, Snapdragon 215 CPU, Android 10 Go - Android

With the Nokia 1.4, you’re getting a 6.51-inch HD+ screen, which towers its predecessor, the Nokia 1.3, that only had a 5.71-inch display. Nokia may have realized that not a lot of people are into small screens these days.

A bigger screen means that HMD Global could cram in a larger 4,000mAh battery that promises up to 2 days of battery life, versus the 3,000mAh of the previous model. Albeit, it still charges via a 5W microUSB charger.

What’s uninspiring is its Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 chipset with quad-cores at 1.3GHz — a CPU spec that we haven’t heard of for years. That’s also the reason why the device runs on an efficient Android 10 Go Edition.

The Nokia 1.4 gives you an option between 1GB or 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 64GB of storage.

As for the cameras, we have the 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel macro camera on the back, sitting in a rounded glass similar to the Nokia 5.4 and Nokia 3.4. We also have the fingerprint scanner back here. While on the front, there’s a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies.

The Nokia 1.4 has a starting price of EUR99 (around Php5,700) and is now available globally. Albeit, its release details here in the Philippines is yet to be known.
