Nubia Red Magic 6 and 6 Pro - 165Hz screens, Snapdragon 888, up to 120W charging and 18GB RAM - Android

Both the Nubia Red Magic 6 and 6 Pro will feature today’s top-dog processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. But besides that, their key feature is the ultra-fast 165Hz 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, a first on a smartphone, combining speed and color.

To conserve battery, it can intelligently switch to 30Hz or 120Hz on less-demanding tasks. Both models also have 360Hz touch sampling and up to 500Hz one-finger touch sampling.

The duo also has touch-sensitive shoulder triggers for games, which now has a 400Hz touch sampling rate for improved responsiveness. The active cooling fan was also improved, which now spins at 18,000 RPM and 20,000 RPM for the Red Magic 6 and 6 Pro, respectively.

The only key difference between the two is the battery and charging. The Red Magic 6 has 5,050mAh with 66W charging. The latter has a smaller 4,500mAh but has twice the charging speed at 120W.

Other than the whopping refresh rate and charging, you can score the Pro model with up to 16GB or 18GB of RAM.

You can get the Nubia Red Magic 6 for a starting price of CNY3,799 (around Php28,400) for the 8GB/128GB, 12GB/128GB for CNY4,099 (around Php30,700), and CNY4,399 (around Php32,900) for the 12GB/256GB. The Red Magic 6 Pro then starts at CNY4,399 (around Php32,900) for the 12GB/128GB, CNY4,799 (around Php35,900) for 12GB/256GB, and CNY5,299 (around Php39,600) for the 16GB/256GB.

The Transparent Edition, which comes with a whopping 16GB/256GB configuration, is available for CNY5,599 (around Php41,900), while the top-tier 18GB/512GB will be at CNY6,599 (around Php49,400).
