OPPO Reno 5 Pro Plus - Snapdragon 865, 90Hz AMOLED screen, 65W fast charging - Android

The OPPO Reno 5 Pro Plus features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. It’s 2020’s flagship CPU, but is on the verge of being outdated now that Snapdragon 888-powered devices are just right around the corner.

Other than the powerful processor, the rest of the specs are pretty flagship-like. It has an ultra-thin body with a curved screen that uses a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel. It has a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling, 1,100-nits peak brightness, and a punch-hole for the selfie camera.

The main attraction here is the quad cameras on the back, which is led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 camera. It also comes with a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, 16-megapixel ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel macro.

We have the fingerprint scanner on the screen, so the back panel mainly populated by this dreamy Reno Glow design.

Other notable features are the large 4,500mAh battery, ultra-fast 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging, stereo speakers, and Android 11 OS with ColorOS 11 UI.

The OPPO Reno 5 Pro Plus has a price of CNY3,999 (around Php29,400) for the 8GB/128GB, while the 12GB/256GB will be at CNY4,499 (around Php33,000). Pre-orders in China will start on January 18, 2021, and will be available in the 22nd. Its release details in the Philippines, alongside the vanilla Reno 5 and Reno 5 Pro models, are yet to be announced.
