OPPO Reno 5Z 5G - Dimensity 800U, FHD+ AMOLED, 30W charging - Android

Like many budget 5G phones from the company, the OPPO Reno 5Z 5G is powered by a MediaTek chipset. This one has a Dimensity 800U CPU, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.

It has a standard 60Hz refresh rate screen but does have a 180Hz touch sampling under Game Mode, similar to what the OPPO A94 has. The screen itself is a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel.

The all-screen look is thanks to the inconspicuous punch-hole for the 16-megapixel selfie camera. We have a quad-camera setup led by a 48-megapixel main shooter and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide around the back. Features like Ultra Night Video, HDR Video, Dual-View Video, and AI Scene Enhancement 2.0 are also present.

A 5,000mAh battery would’ve been better for a 5G phone, but it only got 4,310mAh. On the upside, there’s the 30W USB Type-C to fill it up fast. The charging speed is slightly slower than the actual phone it is based on, the OPPO F19 Pro Plus 5G.

The OPPO Reno 5Z 5G is available in Singapore thru Lazada and Shopee for a price of SGD529 (around Php19,200), while those in UAE can get it for AED1,499 (around Php19,800).
