The OnePlus 8T is finally official and comes with specs that are a step up from the OnePlus 8. The phone features 5G, the new 65W Warp Charge, 120Hz AMOLED display, and a the powerful Snapdragon 865.

Unfortunately, we don’t know yet if it is coming to the Philippines, let alone its local pricing. Looks like the smartphone is coming to the Philippines sometime this month of October.

In India, the OnePlus 8T comes in two variants, the 8GB + 128GB model priced at INR 43,000 (~PHP 28,600) and the 12GB + 256GB for INR 46,000 (~PHP 30,600).

The OnePlus 8T comes with 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a punch hole selfie camera. Inside, it has a 5G Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

There are quad cameras with a 48MP main, a 16MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth. In front is a 32MP selfie shooter. The main camera is backed by a Sony IMX586 sensor, while the has a Sony IMX471 sensor.

As for the battery, the phone has a 4,500mAh capacity with a blazing 65W fast charging. For context, realme’s 65W charger can top-up a phone with a similar size in less than an hour.

Interestingly, the OnePlus 8T will come with Android 11 out of the box, which features a new Dark Mode with some layered design elements that improves screen legibility.
