OnePlus Nord, an upcoming budget phone from OnePlus, has been confirmed to arrive in the Philippines.
OnePlus’s official distributor in the Philippines, Digital Walker, subtly made the announcement on their Facebook page. A commenter asked on an OnePlus 8 post asking if they will be selling the upcoming device once it comes out, to which the company replied “Yes we will”.
This isn’t surprising since Digital Walker has struck a deal with OnePlus a few years ago to exclusively offer its smartphones in the Philippines, including accessories like the Wireless Bullets 2, Warp Charge power adapter, and more.
The OnePlus Nord is expected to compete in the sub-Php25,000 range, going head to head with devices like the Realme X3 SuperZoom and POCO F2 Pro.
It’s expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, a 5G-enabled processor. It will be paired with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and 128GB of storage.
Alternatively, OnePlus fans can get the flagship OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, which has a starting price of Php35,990 in the Philippines.
