Xiaomi’s POCO brand has finally introduced a brand-new flagship device — the POCO F3.
Mind you, though, despite the large POCO branding on the back, the POCO F3 is not an entirely new smartphone as it is essentially a rebranded version of the Redmi K40.
With that, it has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. It may not be the SD888, but it’s still one of the most powerful around and has the bragging right of having the highest clock speed at 3.2GHz.
The powerful processor is partnered with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, smooth 120Hz refresh rate, a generous 4,520mAh battery, and 33W fast charging. You can get it with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage that’s sadly not expandable.
A couple of notable features are in the audio department. It comes with three microphones that let you record videos with 360-degree surround sound. The POCO F3 also has stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos and advanced X-axis motors.
The cameras are nothing too special but should suffice to do the job. It has a 48-megapixel main shooter, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 5-megapixel telemacro camera. Telemacro essentially means the telephoto zoom it can do can be used for macro shots.
You can get the POCO F3 in the Philippines for a price of Php17,990 for the 6GB/128GB and Php20,990 for the 8GB/256GB. It will be exclusively available in Lazada come March 27, where both models will have a special early bird price of Php15,990 and Php18,990, respectively.
