Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G now official with 5G, AI noise suppression, 120fps gaming - Android

There are three key features that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G offers. The main one, of course, is its X52 5G modem, which is also found on the more expensive Snapdragon 765. This mmWave 5G can offer download speeds up to 3.7 Gbps. It also has Sub-6 support.

Next stop, we have the AI-powered noise suppression. At 4.0 TOPS, its AI hardware provides 20% faster performance than the Snapdragon 730G. It can be used for its Qualcomm Aqstic Echo Cancellation and Noise Suppression (ECNS) — which is really handy in the new normal as it can eliminate background noise while on video or voice calls.

And the third big feature is, it can support up to 120Hz refresh rate displays — a feature that we expect to see in more smartphones in the coming months.

To ensure you can run apps and games at 120Hz, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G is built under 7nm process and comes with Kyro 570 octa-core processor that’s clocked at 2.2GHz. While handling the graphics is an Adreno 619 GPU.

It also has Game Color Plus and Adreno HDR Fast Blend for a more efficient game rendering. The chipset also allows you to record 4K HDR10 videos, has QuickCharge 4+, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0.

Smartphones powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G will arrive by the end of the year, and Xiaomi is said to have called first dibs on it.
