Razer, a brand that usually caters to gamers, has unveiled the Razer Book 13 laptop that’s designed for school, business, and productivity in general.
Sporting a design that’s heavily inspired by the Razer Blade Stealth and Dell XPS series, the Razer Book 13 features a per-key RGB lighting, aluminum unibody design, and a thin-bezel, 13.4 inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and Full HD resolution. At the back of the laptop’s lid is of course the signature Razer logo.
With Intel Evo certification, the Razer Book 13 is meant for business and productivity, with 14-hour battery life, quick recharge and a starting weight of 2.95 pounds. The laptop comes with a bevy of ports: two USB-C with Thunderbolt 4, a single USB 3.2 Type-A, HDMI 2.0, a microSD card reader, and a headphone jack.
As the first Razer laptop to use an i5, the Razer Book 13 is powered by an Intel Core i5-1135G7 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. Graphics is handled by the integrated Intel Iris Xe. There’s no variant with a discrete GPU.
With a starting price of $1,199.99 (approx. ₱57,800), the Razer Book 13 will be available for purchase sometime this month. Better innards and higher-res screen are also available at higher prices.
