Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has revealed the details of its upcoming midrange phone, the Realme 8.
The executive has posted the retail box and the backside of the actual device on its Twitter page, revealing its key features. From what it looks like, the Realme 8 will now have a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen.
It’s an upgrade over the IPS screen of the Realme 7. This also means that it may now lack a 90Hz refresh rate, like what happened on the Realme 7 Pro. This kind of makes sense, since having a 90Hz screen with a midrange processor is barely noticeable.
Speaking of which, the device will also feature a MediaTek Helio G95 processor — the same chipset found on its predecessor. The 5,000mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge is also kept.
It will also have an identical 64-megapixel main camera, inside a new square glass on the back. The device will also come in a Blue color with the “Dare to Leap” branding printed in bold texts.
Also, as you might notice, the image watermark reveals that it was taken using the Realme 8 Pro and its 108-megapixel main camera.
The official release date for the Realme 8 series are yet to be announced, so stay tuned for that.
