Spotted in TENAA, a Chinese certification body, the device with a codename RMX2200 / RMX2201 will feature a 2.0GHz MediaTek Dimensity 720 octa-core processor. It’s an entry-level chipset that’s equipped with 5G connectivity. This basically means that the V3 could be Realme’s cheapest 5G smartphone — even more affordable than the Realme V5 with the same chipset.

It’s also said to have a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS screen. A 5G phone with only an HD+ screen? We’re excited to see more budget smartphones to have 5G after this.

Moreover, the Realme V3 will have a 4,890mAh battery, 18W fast charging, and will have 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options. There’s a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, with a triple camera in a Realme C15-like glass. It houses a 13-megapixel primary camera and two 2-megapixel sensors.

The most interesting part is the pricing. Rumor has it that the device will retail for only CNY1,000, which is only around Php7,000 when directly converted to Philippine pesos.
