Realme just released its own “Ultra” smartphone, the Realme X7 Pro Ultra.
The Realme X7 Pro Ultra is the top-tier version of the X7 Pro with a couple of bizarre upgrades and downgrades. For starters, it only has a 90Hz refresh rate (vs 120Hz), but do has a sleeker curved panel (vs flat).
It also has three cameras, while the former has four. But don’t worry, as the ousted one is only the 2-megapixel sensor. Albeit, it didn’t upgrade the primary ones either: the 64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel macro.
Possibly the only main upgrade here is the fact that it runs on the latest Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box, while the X7 Pro is stuck at Android 10 with Realme UI 1.0 (at least for now). It’s also thinner at 7.8mm (vs. 8,5mm) and lighter at 170g (vs. 184g). That’s despite having the same 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

The rest of the specs and features justifies its high-end status. There’s the VS liquid cooling, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, in-display fingerprint scanner, and of course, 5G connectivity.
The Realme X7 Pro Ultra starts at CNY2,399 (around Php17,700) for the 8GB/128GB, while the top-tier 12GB/256GB model is priced at CNY2,699 (around Php19,900). It’s now available on Realme’s official website, while its release in PH and other markets is yet to be known.
