Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has revealed its newest products today, the Redmi 10X series. There are three phones in total: Redmi 10X 5G, Redmi 10X Pro, and Redmi 10X 4G.
Both the 5G Redmi 10X and 10X Pro are equipped with a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. The waterdrop notch houses their 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel selfie cameras, respectively. In addition, they both have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 180Hz touch sampling rate.
On the back, the two units share the same 48-megapixel main and 8-megapixel ultrawide sensors. The difference is the Pro has an additional 8-megapixel telephoto which features 3x optical zoom and 2-megapixel macro lens.
Inside, there’s the new MediaTek Dimensity 820 processor paired with 6GB/8GB RAM for the base 5G model and 8GB RAM for the Pro. Storage options go from 64GB up to as high as 256GB.
As usual, the software used is Xiaomi’s own MIUI 12 based on the Android 10 operating system.
In terms of battery, there’s a 4,520mAh capacity on both of them but it differs in charging speed: 22.5W for the 10X and 33W for the Redmi 10X Pro. Other features include an IP53 rating, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
