A new K-series flagship smartphone has been officially unveiled by Xiaomi‘s Redmi brand. The device dubbed as Redmi K30 Ultra is packed with must-haves flagship features: 120Hz AMOLED full-screen display, MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ 5G processor, 64-megapixel quad-camera, and dual stereo speakers.

The price of the Redmi K30 Ultra starts from RMB 1,999 and is expected to go on sale from 14th August.

There’s a stunning full-screen viewing experience on the Redmi K30 Ultra for watching videos, gaming, and reading. You won’t find any notch on the display as it comes with a pop-up 20-megapixel camera, which means it has about 92.7% coverage of the front.

The Redmi K30 Ultra features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display was crafted using the Samsung E3 AMOLED material for efficient battery usage at up to 1,200 nits of brightness.

For a vivid and colorful viewing experience, the contrast ratio can go up to 5,000,000:1, 100% coverage DCI-P3, HDR10+, and color gamut support. The Redmi K30 Ultra is being powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ 5G chipset, Mali-G77 GPU, 8GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage. On the software side, it runs on the  Android 10 based MIUI 12.

The quad rear camera setup on the Redmi K30 Ultra have a 64-megapixel high-resolution primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a telemacro 5-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The Redmi K30 Ultra also comes with a large battery of 4,500mAh capacity, which can easily get through a full day of continuous usage. It also supports 33W fast charging, so that it can get full with about one hour of charging.

The Redmi K30 Ultra is available in three color options, Midnight Black, Mint Green, and Moonlight White. Here are the configurations and pricing:

• 6GB + 128GB — RMB 1,999 (~Php14,100)
• 8GB + 128GB — RMB 2,199 (~Php15,500)
• 8GB + 256GB — RMB 2,499 (~Php17,600)
• 8GB + 512GB — RMB 2,699 (~Php19,000)

Take note that these direct price conversions to Philippine peso are before taxes, so it might be more expensive when it launches here.
