Xiaomi has started rolling out Android-11 based MIUI 12 on a lot of devices. Now, the latest update lands on one of its most popular midrange line, the Redmi Note 9 series.

Upon checking in our review units, the Android 11 MIUI 12 update is now available for the Redmi Note 9, Note 9 Pro, and Note 9S. If your device hasn’t notified you yet, you can head to the System Update section in the settings menu and check it for yourself.

The update will bring tons of visual, privacy, and usability features to these devices.

For one, Xiaomi has introduced its latest Sensory Visual Design on the MIUI 12. Throughout the interface, Xiaomi ramped up the graphics visualization for every setting or native features you’re using so you have a better understanding of what they do.
