Samsung silently launched its newest device — the Galaxy A01 Core. The South Korean tech giant already has a wide array of products in its portfolio. However, this one comes as the most affordable.
To start, the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core sports a MediaTek MT6739 octa-core processor with 1GB or 2GB of RAM and a 16G or 32GB of internal storage. It also uses an Android 10 (Go edition) operating system.
Moreover, the Galaxy A01 Core features a small 5.3-inch LCD HD+ resolution. It has huge bezels on top and bottom, quite reminiscent of a 2017 design trend. The 5-megapixel front camera sits on the top bezel together with the speakers. Meanwhile, the back of the phone uses a plastic material with a ridge-like pattern. There’s also the 8-megapixel rear camera with f2.2 aperture and an LED flash.
Its other features include a 3,000mAh battery, micro USB port, headphone jack, and a triple-slot tray.
The Samsung Galaxy A01 Core is available in three colors — blue, black, and red. It retails in Indonesia and has a starting price of IDR1,099,000 or around Php3,700. Note that this is a direct conversion and does not include taxes.
No word yet if the device will arrive in the Philippines. Stay tuned for more updates.
