The Samsung Galaxy A01 Core just arrived in the Philippines. The term “A01” means its an entry-level device, and the “Core” suggests that it’s a whole lot cheaper.
In fact, the Samsung Galaxy A01 is the most affordable Samsung device phone in the Philippines today. Priced at Php3,990, it’s cheaper than the vanilla Galaxy A01.
Initially launched in Indonesia, the Galaxy A01 Core is powered by a MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor, with 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage. Complimenting its underwhelming hardware is the efficient Android 10 Go Edition software.
There’s a 5.3-inch HD+ screen on the front, with the traditional uniform bezel for the 5-megapixel selfie camera. While on the back, we have a single 8-megapixel primary camera and a textured body that’s available in Black and Red. There’s technically a Blue version of the A01 Core, but it’s not clear if it will make it here.
The Samsung Galaxy A01 Core is now available in Samsung’s official online store, and through their shops in Lazada and Shopee. It should also hit the shelves of Samsung’s physical stores by now.
