Last Thursday - May 17, 2018, at the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-La Hotel at The Fort, legendary Japanese tech giant Sharp Corporation officially unveiled the Sharp AQUOS 8K LED TV, which is set to be the first commercially available 8K TV in our country

8K, which has image dimensions of 7,680 x 4,320 pixels, is the latest technology for ultra-high-definition screens, having 16 times the pixel-density and resolution of Full-HD resolution at 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and 4 times that of 4K at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels.
According to the company, Sharp AQUOS 8K LED TV reproduces images at "ultimate reality", with ultra-fine details the naked eye cannot capture

Sharp AQUOS 8K LED TV features a 70-inch display panel framed by sleek, Dark Silver metal bezels.
The TV incorporates two 40W subwoofers placed on either sides, delivering rich and immersive sound experience when watching movies.
As of writing, Sharp Philippines Corporation has yet to disclose the official pricing details of the Sharp AQUOS 8K LED TV. I believe they'll do that once they are ready to make the TV available in stores later this year. Stay tuned for updates!
