As we look forward to a fresh start in less than two weeks, Steam is launching its annual year-end sale and video game awards to cap off the year 2020. Game prices are slashed by as much as 80 percent, while over forty game titles are vying in several award categories in the 2020 Steam Awards.

As of this writing, several games can be had for $10 or less each. Notable games include Ark: Survival Evolved, Far Cry New Dawn, and Watch Dogs 2, all three are being sold for $9.99. Deals are also offered for entire game franchises, including Resident Evil and Star Wars. The 2020 Steam Winter Sale will last until January 5 at 10AM Pacific Time.

Meanwhile, the 2020 Steam Awards invites gamers to vote for their favorite games. For Game of the Year, the nominees are Red Dead Redemption II, Hades, Doom Eternal, Fall Guys, and Death Stranding. Other award categories include VR Game of the Year, Labor of Love, and Most Innovative Gameplay.

Players who participate in voting will be rewarded with collectible trading cards from this year’s set of Winter Sale Trading Cards. Voting will end on January 3, 2021, at 9AM Pacific Time.
