Xiaomi unveiled the Mi Band 5 for the international market, named as Mi Smart Band 5. Afterwards, there’s the launch by the Chinese tech giant of the Mi Band 4C in Taiwan. This is just days after the band was officially listed in Indonesia.

The Mi Band 4C sports a 1.08-inch square-shaped touch screen with 16-bit colour display, brightness up to 200 nits and 2D glass screen. Powering the smart band is a 130mAh battery that is expected to have a battery life of up to 14 days. The device supports USB-A charging via a built-in charging port, and it can be connected to a PC or laptop, but with a longer charging time of about 2 hours.

Furthermore, the Mi Band 4C is equipped with activity tracker, sleep monitor, sedentary reminder, calls, app notifications, music playback control and the usual heart rate sensor. The five sports modes it offers include, cycling, treadmill, exercise, fast walking and outdoor running. Similar to the Mi Band 4, it is water resistant up to 50 meters.

The Mi Band 4C is available in black color with black, green, orange or blue strap options and priced at $16 or around Php800. The smart band is available in Hong Kong and Taiwan for now. Official ricing and availability in the Philippines are still unknown.
