UnionBank deposit service via 7-Eleven and ECPay Partners will begin to charge a convenience fee starting March 1.
According to UnionBank, starting March 1, customers who will deposit through 7-Eleven and ECpay merchants will be charged a service fee of PHP 20.00 per transaction. The PHP 20 fixed service fee will be automatically debited to the user’s account and will reflect as “PARTNER CASH IN FEE” in the transaction history.
To deposit to your UnionBank account via 7-Eleven, follow these steps:
1. Select E-Money and choose UnionBank
2. Enter the transaction details (account number, account name, and amount).
3. Get the transaction receipt. Scan and pay for it at the center.
4. The amount will be credited instantly to your account.
5. You will receive an SMS notification as confirmation.
To deposit to your UnionBank account via ECPay partner merchants, follow these steps:
1. Fill out Payment Slip
2. Write UnionBank at the Biller Name.
3. Write the account number, account name, and amount to be deposited.
4. Go to the counter and give the payment slip.
5. Get the counter receipt upon successful transaction.
UnionBank’s deposit service is available in over 11,000 7-Eleven branches and ECPay merchants nationwide. The ECPay merchants include CVM Pawnshop, RD Pawnshop, Czarina Foreign Exchange, LCC Mall, and more.
