The Vivo iQOO 7 finally makes its global debut.

Before we proceed, let’s clarify something first. The Vivo iQOO 7 global is actually a rebranded version of the iQOO Neo 5. The initial iQOO 7 that came out in China last January was renamed to iQOO 7 Legend for the international market.

With that, the iQOO 7 global version is powered by a Snapdragon 870 chip instead of the Snapdragon 888. It also comes with a dedicated intelligent display chip for enhancing frame rates on games, ALL HDR, and more.

Speaking of which, the iQOO 7 has a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, with a fast 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,300-nits peak brightness, and 6000000:1 contrast ratio for the HDR10+ certification.

The screen also has a 300Hz touch sampling for increased responsiveness and a 1000Hz instant touch sampling for games. The Multi Turbo feature then “extends memory space and reduces energy consumption” for a lag-free experience.

To keep it cool when gaming, the iQOO 7 global has an enormous 6000mm graphite layer for liquid cooling.

Vivo also claims that its 66W FlashCharge can fill up the 4,400mAh battery in only 30 minutes.

We have a 48-megapixel main shooter with optical image stabilization around the back, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide that doubles as a macro lens, and a 2-megapixel mono sensor.
