Vivo has introduced the iQOO Z3 with the popular midrange chipset and a couple of modern features, which all adds up to a compelling gaming smartphone.
The Vivo iQOO Z3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G processor, a proven chipset that should provide a flagship-level performance. To complement that, the device also has a fast 120Hz refresh rate screen with a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
It also has a graphite heat sink, which Vivo claims can decrease the chipset temperature by 10ºC. The device then runs on the latest OriginOS interface, which means it may not be available outside China anytime soon.
The iQOO Z3 then has a decent 4,400mAh battery with a 55W flash charge. As per Vivo, it can go from 15% to 60% charge for only 15 minutes.
For audio, the device has a headphone jack, aptX HD and LDAC for wireless listening, and a 4D haptic feedback system.
The camera system is pretty standard. There’s the 64-megapixel main shooter, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel monochrome. Around the front, we have the 16-megapixel selfie camera inside a more traditional waterdrop notch.
As stated earlier, the iQOO Z3 will be initially available in China through Vivo’s own website and other online partners. Pricing starts at CNY1,699 (around Php12,600) for the 6GB/128GB, CNY1,799 (around Php13,300) for the 8GB/128GB, and CNY1,999 (around Php14,800) for the 8GB/256GB.
