Another month has ended, which means we’re getting a new list from AnTuTu showing the best performing smartphone list for August 2020.
For the Chinese August 2020 edition of the AnTuTu best performing Android Phones, we’re seeing a couple of new, but mostly old names. But considering there are newly released devices, and more to come out in the coming weeks, next month’s list should include a couple of fresh devices.
The list is dominated by Qualcomm’s flagship processors. What’s ironic is, despite the most powerful option, there’s only one Snapdragon 865 Plus device on this list, and it didn’t even come through until the third seat.
Instead, what dominated the list Xiaomi’s 10th-year celebration smartphone, the Mi 10 Ultra, which is powered by the vanilla Snapdragon 865 and got a score of 646,730. It’s the only 16GB RAM model on the list, so the extra memory might have been a big help.
Taking the second spot is the Vivo iQOO 5 with 12GB/256GB config with a score of 637,616.
It’s not until the third-place until we got a Snapdragon 865 Plus device, which is the ASUS ROG Phone 3 (12GB/256GB) with a score of 629,245.
The rest of the devices are Snapdragon 865 models. The fourth seat is taken by the Black Shark 3S 12GB/256GB with a score of 620,311; The Vivo X50 Pro Plus 12GB/256GB with 608,396; and the OPPO Find X2 Pro 12GB/256GB at 607,276 — which used to dominate the list ever since.
We then have the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 12GB/512GB at the eight spot with a score of 600,618, Vivo iQOO Neo 3 8GB/256GB with 599,955, and lastly, the bang-for-the-buck Redmi K30 Pro 8GB/256GB manages to take the last spot with a score of 595,738.
All in all, Xiaomi dominated the list with four entries. Followed by Vivo with three, OPPO with two, and ASUS with one. We’ll see how this list changes next month.
