Another member of the Mi 10 series have been announced — the Xiaomi Mi 10S.
While the Mi 11 is already on the roll, the Xiaomi Mi 10S has come out as — hopefully — the last member of last year’s flagship line. It carries a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
It has all the bells and whistles you’d expect on a 2021 smartphone — even the design on the back is similar to the latest Xiaomi smartphones. There’s the distinct camera glass on the back, which houses a 108-megapixel ISOCELL sensor from Samsung.
We then have a curved screen on the front, spanning 6.67-inches, that uses a FHD+ AMOLED panel. Of course, it has a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Accompanying the screen is the dual speaker setup by Harman Kardon, which is said to be one of the best smartphone speakers around.
Keeping the lights on is a 4,780mAh battery, with 33W fast charging and a whopping 30W wireless charging support. It also has 10W reverse wireless charging, which is 2x faster than what others have.
The Xiaomi Mi 10S has a starting price of CNY3,299 (around Php24,600) for the 8GB/128GB and CNY3,799 (around Php28,300) for the 12GB/256GB. It will be available starting March 12 in China, while its release details in the Philippines and other markets are yet to be revealed.
