Xiaomi has just announced the Mi 10i, a new midrange handset features 5G connectivity, a 120Hz display and a 108MP main camera.
The Mi 10i looks to have the same specs and design as the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, but the major difference with this one is that its made in India as part of the Make In India initiative.
The smartphones comes with a 6.67-inch full HD IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support, topped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. Inside, it is powered by a Snapdragon 750G processor with a 5G modem, up to 8GB RAM, and up to 128GB storage.
The main camera uses a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor with ISOCELL Plus for better low light performance. Supporting cameras includ3e an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP for depth information. For the selfie camera, it has a 16MP sensor on a punch hole at the top center of the display
Rounding out the spec sheet, the Mi 10i also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, an IR sensor, USB-C port, and a 4,820mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging.

The Xiaomi Mi 10i is priced at INR 20,999 for the 6GB + 64GB model, INR 21,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model, and INR 23,999 for the top spec’d 8GB + 128GB model. Converted locally, that’s around Php 13,800, Php 14,500, and Php 15,800, respectively.
The handset is coming to India. No news yet for a global rollout, let alone a local (Philippines) one.
