A Filipino YouTuber named Tech Buff PH posted a video showcasing the unreleased Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra in the flesh.
As per the video, which has been taken down since then, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will offer one unique feature: a 1-inch rear-facing screen. It’s sitting right next to the two large camera lens inside the same, wide camera lens.
In a screenshot, it shows that the tiny display can display the entire home screen. But considering how small it is, small texts and icons are barely readable.
The more practical use is for taking selfies, or if you want someone else taking a picture of you and you want to see if the angle is right.
For the cameras itself, the primary shooter will sport a whopping 50-megapixel sensor. Not as pixel-packed as the 108-megapixel of the Mi 10 Ultra, but may have larger pixels to absorb more light.
Next to it is a sharp 48-megapixel 12mm-equivalent ultra-wide camera. While below them is a periscope-style telephoto lens, a 12-120mm equivalent that can do 120x of hybrid zoom.
It was also mentioned that the device would have a 6.8-inch curved OLED screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery, IP68 water and dust resistance, MIUI 12.5, and a 67W fast wireless charging. The product shots also show its glass back and speaker grills on the top for the stereo setup with Harman Kardon tuning.
For the processor, it should sport the current top standard, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, which also powers the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro. No official word yet as to when this device will come out.
