Xiaomi has just launched a mini-desktop that caters for the average computer with the Ningmei CR100. It’s current up for sale at the Youpin website at a price tag of 1,499 yuan (approximately Php10,600). 

Adhering to a slim design that makes it significantly smaller than most desktops (192 x 188 x 54mm), the Ningmei CR100 is as compact as it can get for a desktop computer. It also weighs substantially lighter, too, at only 760 grams.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi Ningmei CR100 mini-desktop is powered by a quad-core Intel J4105 and 8GB DDR4 RAM, and 256GB solid-state drive memory. It also has all the interfaces needed for I/O, including USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, VGA, etc.

Heating is significantly less of an issue, despite the slim factor, thanks to the mini-desktop’s omni-directional heat dissipation system. 

Anyone who chose to buy the Xiaomi Ningmei CR100 before June 30 will have the privilege of buying it at 100 yuan discount while simultaneously getting auxiliary hardware (mouse, keyboard, mousepad, and a 16GB flash drive) as freebies.
