Top research-firm Canalys has released its quarterly report on audio devices shipment worldwide.

Xiaomi tops the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) market in the Philippines in the first quarter of 2020. According to the research, Xiaomi holds a 36.4% share, followed by Samsung with 24.9%, and Apple at 13.8%.

Meanwhile, Southeast Asia has become the newest target of tech brands in the audio market. In the first quarter of 2020, the growth of TWS has been the fastest, outpacing other categories.

Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi dominate the Southeast Asian market of TWS as these brands offer various products in different price segments.

In the Philippines, Xiaomi has released entry-level TWS devices with prices ranging from Php1,500 to 3,500. Meanwhile, Apple and Samsung are on the higher-end spectrum.

Canalys forecasts that shipment in the Asia Pacific will increase by 23.6%, with 44% of the 78 million smart personal audio devices will come from TWS shipment.
