The vivo X60 Pro+ is now official, launched at an event in China. The smartphone takes the X60 Pro and improved on several specs, adding a leather finish, a Snapdragon 888 processor and a powerful set of cameras.
vivo smartphones are known to have great cameras. And they certainly took it up a notch with the vivo X60 Pro+.
The phone has four at the back. Its main camera has 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN1 sensor with a Zeiss T* composite multilayer coating and a nanocrystalline structure coating. Next to it is a 48MP ultra-wide backed by a Sony IMX598 sensor with a 4-axix OIS, followed by a 32MP 50mm portrait lens, and an 8MP periscope zoom with up to 5x optical and 60x digital zoom, backed by an OIS. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front facing snapper.
Up front, there’s a curved 6.56-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ support. It’s bright too going up to 1300 nits of brightness.

Inside, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 with a 5G modem. And it comes in two variants — 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. RAM is the LPDDR5 variety, while the storage is UFS 3.1.
Then there’s a 4,200mAh battery with 55-watt fast charging. Unfortunately, they skipped the wireless charging.
The vivo X60 Pro+ has a price of CNY 4,998 (around ~Php 37,100 or USD 772) for the 8GB + 128GB model and CNY 5,998 (~Php 44,500 or USD 930) for the 12GB + 256GB model. It comes in two colors with a leather finish — Deep Sea Blue and Classic Orange.
So far, the phone will come to China first. No news yet of a global rollout.
