Great news for Apple fans who are still using an older iPhone model like an Apple iPhone 6S, 7, 8, or iPhone X and are now planning to make an upgrade but aren't keen on spending more than PHP 40,000 on a new handset!
Following the announcement of Apple iPhone 12 Series last October 14, 2020, the Cupertino company has just lowered the official prices of Apple iPhone 11 on their online store for the Philippine market.
From donning an official SRP of PHP 47,990, the Apple iPhone 11 64GB now goes for as low as PHP 37,990 at apple.com/ph, representing a whopping PHP 10,000 price drop.
The 128GB and 256GB versions also got a huge price slash as they now sell for PHP 40,990 and PHP 46,990, respectively. Previously, these models were priced at PHP 50,990 and PHP 56,990.
Available in White, Black, Green, Yellow, Purple, and Red, the best-selling Apple iPhone 11 features a fairly large 6.1‑inch 1792 x 828 pixels Liquid Retina HD IPS Display, a 12 MegaPixels f/1.8 Wide + 12 MegaPixels f/2.4 120-Degrees Ultra-Wide Dual Rear Camera Module delivering stellar low-light performance, 4K 24,30,60 fps + 1080p 30,60,120,240 fps HDR Video Recorder at the Back, 12 MegaPixels f/2.2 Front-Cam that can also record 4K 24, 30, and 60 fps HDR clips for vloggers, and a Non-Removable 3,110 mAh Li-Ion Battery pack supporting 18W fast charging.
Under the hood, 4G Apple iPhone 11 is powered by the Apple A13 Bionic processor that still delivers great gaming and overall mobile performance all while enabling the handset's remarkable imaging capabilities both for stills and movies. This chipset is complemented by 4GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB internal storage options.
Although the Apple iPhone 11 is already a year old, I would say that it still remains a great handset, especially for mobile photographers and budding Youtube content creators because of this model's tremendous imaging prowess which set the bar so high during its reign.
Oh, and another cool thing about the Apple iPhone 11 is that it ships with a travel charger and a pair of earphones, which - oddly enough - are no-shows on the Apple iPhone 12 series!
Currently, the PHP 10,000 price cut across Apple iPhone 11 models can only be enjoyed by those who will purchase the handset through the above-mentioned website. However, I am confident that Apple's official retail partners in the Philippines - including Beyond The Box - will soon implement the price drop on their Apple iPhone 11 offerings. We'll just have to wait for their formal announcement.
