Best Performing Flagship Android Smartphones List as of March 2020, Released by Antutu - Android

Is raw power or beastly gaming performance your primary consideration when purchasing a new top-of-the-line smartphone? If it is, then this blog post is for you.

Antutu, the company behind the popular smartphone benchmarking app that lets users compare handset scores based on CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage performance, has just released in Top 10 list of best-performing flagship smartphones as of March 2020.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, Best Performing Android Smartphone 2020

Korean Giant Samsung dominated the list with its 2020 Galaxy S20 Series handsets getting 6 out of the 10 available slots, including the Top 4 positions.

As most of us know, the company has Snapdragon 865 and Exynos 990 versions for the Samsung Gaaxy S20 Ultra 5G as well as the Samsung Galaxy S20+. Remarkably, the Snapdragon 865 variants got higher marks, retaining all other technical specifications. I believe that this is yet another testament to Qualcomm's continuing leadership in the mobile chipsets industry.

At the #1 and #2 positions are Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G and Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G both powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. With 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, they got Antutu Benchmark Scores of 562,262 and 549,904, respectively.

The Exynos 990 variants of the above-mentioned Galaxy models are at #3 and #4 with Antutu Benchmark Score of 519,297 and 516,138. They have the same amount of RAM as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 85 powered models but they have less storage at just 128GB.

Amazingly, Asus' 2019 flagship gaming smartphones - the ROG Phone 2 - still managed to land at the #5 spot with its score of 510,080. This handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ and it has 12GB of RAM along with a whopping 512GB of internal sotrage.

At #6 and #7, we have the non-5G Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+ Exynos 990 versions with extremely close scores of 502,688 and 502,264, respectively.

The fairly affordable OnePlus 7T with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of ROM lands at the #8 position with its 495,917 Antutu mark.

Budget-friendly yet very capable, Realme X2 Pro, stands shoulder to shoulder with these powerhouse models with its 484,902 score, which is good enough to put it at #8.

Finally, the mobile imaging beast OnePlus 7T Pro powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and having an 8GB+256GB RAM and ROM combo wraps up the Top 10 list with its Antutu Benchmark Score of 478,644.
